EMPOWERMENT - AWARENESS - CHANGE
Global political challenges, climate change, environmental issues, animal rights, sexual harassment, gender equality, LBGTQ, immigration, racism, political mobilization (voting), gun violence, inequality, addiction, eating disorders, cyberbullying, health and nutrition etc are all issues affecting teens and young adults.
When a young woman is able to address these issues, she inspires, motivates, empowers and influences other young women to follow in her footsteps. What we do today will pave the way for change tomorrow.
Empowering young women by honoring their story and providing them with an outlet to express their voice is a small step to create real, sustained change in our social and political consciousness. We can’t change others, and we can’t change the world, but we can take responsibility and model that change. If we are EMPOWERED WOMEN we EMPOWER others.
Through mentorship, educational support, project funding, we guide and assist the project through its completion with a small team of volunteers. Once the project is complete, we provide a means of distribution and showcasing their work through different venues. We create broad awareness of the project through our connection with schools and organizations, in person presentations where the audience interacts with the content creator through screenings and film festivals as well as a strong digital media presence. Taking their project from idea, through the process to completion and beyond, our vision is to affect and influence as many young people as we can reach on a global scale.
